Cabaret brings the Berlin of 1931 to life both inside and outside the Kit Kat Club. There, the dreamy American Sally Bowles and a mischievous presenter sound the call for decadent pleasure, while on the street the Nazi Party is growing into a brutal political force. British language teacher Brian Roberts falls into this heady world, succumbing to Sally's charms, and the two soon find themselves caught up in the turmoil and decadence of the time.
