CARO KELLEY and Special Guest: HUN

CARO KELLEY is a Munich-based singer and pianist originally from Dayton, Ohio. CARO has been a musician in Munich since 2018, performing and teaching throughout the city and Bavaria, as well as a studio musician. She is known for her vocal improvisation and harmonies, as well as her impressive stage presence. CARO was featured as the Süddeutsche Zeitung's "Band of the Week" and has played many shows and festivals throughout Munich, including The Roofs Festival at Olympiapark, StuStaCulum and the Unisommerfest. In November 2022, she was featured at the online festival Sound of Munich Now in collaboration with Feierwerk and Süddeutsche Zeitung. In 2021 CARO released her debut EP and in 2022 her debut album "Playroom", which was funded by Initiative Musik. In December 2022, "Playroom" won 5 awards at the 2022 German Rock & Pop Awards, including Best Pop Female Vocalist, Best Pop Album and Song of the Year. In July 2023, CARO released "Junk Food," a catchy soul-pop single, and "Problematic," a collaboration with Munich-based pop group "Mirror Lane." In the summer of 2023, CARO and her 7-piece band performed at Augsburg Jazz Mainacht, StuStaCulum and Munich Sessions Summer Fest, followed by a headline show at Munich Rocks in September. In October, she will embark on a six-date international tour with "Wombeats," playing in Vienna, Munich, Budapest and London. (Source: artist info)

HUN is a 26-year-old German singer who combines her soulful voice with lyrics about everyday life situations. HUN comes from a musical family and started singing and writing songs at the age of 12. Since then she gained a lot of experience on big and small stages and with TV appearances. Her songs explore the irony of life, combining deeper emotional themes with a light, relaxed sound. Her musical style is influenced by her jazz education, which she completed last year in Munich, as well as the contemporary, pop-infused sounds of the German music scene. She moved to Berlin last year to expand the reach of her music, and is currently working hard to release her songs this year! (source: band info)
