Cecilia Zabala defies musical categorization. She performs with sensitivity, technical skill, and intuition, using both her guitar and her voice. Her music blends such diverse styles as Argentine folklore, jazz, tango, and Brazilian folk music.
To date, she has released ten albums in Argentina, Germany, and the United States. For more than ten years, she has been touring internationally, giving master classes, and presenting her work at festivals and concert halls across Europe, North America, and Latin America.
Since 2006, she has been touring the world and has released ten albums featuring her own songs, arrangements, and instrumental compositions. Cecilia Zabala has developed her own unique form of musical expression—through a subtle dialogue between her guitar and her voice. Her music and lyrics speak of everyday beauty, respect for nature, and equality of opportunity. In her musical exploration, she blends Argentine folklore, jazz, Brazilian rhythms, and 20th-century avant-garde.
In 2018, the Argentine Ministry of Culture awarded her the “Premio Nacional” (National Prize), the country’s highest artistic and institutional honor.
