Codex Serafini (UK)

Codex Serafini must have come crashing down to us straight from outer space. On their journey through earthly existence, they have currently settled in Sussex, UK, from where they spread their mix of doom jazz and post-rock through wild Saturnian rituals as far as they can in their current form.

In November 2025, they released their second album , *Mother, Give Your Children Sanity*, on Riot Season Records. Following their debut, *The Imprecation Of Anima*, they blend the future psych rock of Boris, Goat, and King Gizzard with the avant-garde art rock of The Mars Volta and Ex Eye. The album was produced by Wayne Adams (BigLad/Petbrick) at Bear Bites Horse Studio (GreenLung/Petbrick/JAAW).

“This album grew from our shared, deep connection to one another and reflects both the power of nature and the struggles we all experience as human beings on this planet. We are grateful to have made it with people we love and respect, and we’re excited to finally share it with everyone out there.” (Codex Serafini)

“A joyous open market of wild, experimental, and fun sounds, brought together in a festival of jazz and doom. But there’s more—all manner of instruments and genres at play—to the point where you’re a mile away from your comfort zone but so engrossed that you hardly notice how far you’ve traveled.” NineHertz
