A female sound improvisation by experimental musician Bex Burch and probably the most famous female drummer in the world: Dame Evelyn Glennie.
An exceptional musician with an exceptional story: Evelyn Glennie grew up in rural Aberdeenshire, deeply rooted in the folklore of her Scottish homeland. When her hearing deteriorated at the age of 8, she discovered the drums and her own body as a resonance chamber. Today she can look back on a successful career - and now the world's most famous drummer is coming to Hanover!
For the exclusive concert at the Überschlag Festival, she has invited an impressive dialog partner: Bex Burch, born in London, is a sound artist who is at home in world music. The two will only meet shortly before the concert and will get started spontaneously - an evening improvised from A to Z by two impressive artistic personalities!

Pupils, students, pensioners and recipients of ALG II receive the reduced ticket price for day and one-way tickets. Proof of eligibility must be presented at the entrance.
