Specifically tailored for the deep and dark aspects of drum and bass - such as techstep, dark rollers and neurofunk - but also for related bass music genres such as drumfunk, halftime, dark jungle, ambient and noise, the Dark Drum&Bass Convention is a musical platform with yearly events, music releases and a mix/podacast series. With international artists such as Ruffhouse, Survey, DLR, Hydro & War, Silent Witness and ZeroZero, the DDNBC has over the years become a well known institution for quality underground Drum and Bass, as well as a much appreciated yearly gathering for all local bass music enthusiasts.

As we are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year, we are dropping another compilation album on that day, turning the event into a special release party. With this release we want to showcase the diversity and often underrated quality of some of the scene's most talented artists, who have dedicated at least part of their production to dark music, showcasing their music with strictly exclusive tracks for this "once in a decade"-release. A highly anticipated album, featuring strictly artists from the DDNBC ecosystem.

We are very proud to welcome the one and only Kyrist (Kynetic Sound, Overview) from South Wales (U.K.) - well known for her releases on Dispatch, Vision or Critical and the launch of her own label - Kynetic Sound - the queen of Drum and Bass has recently made waves with some absolutely beautiful DJ sets and striking music on Overview Music. On top, we have one of the best MCs in the world joining us, alongside the might Kyrist, we very much welcome: Visionobi (Metalheadz, Soulvent, U.K.) - a top notch DNB mastermind, who has been around for over two decades. Winning Best Newcomer MC at 2013's Drum & Bass Arena awards, Visionobi broke the glass ceiling that held back many of his contemporaries, becoming the go-to host for many of the scene's biggest players, including Metalheadz, Shogun Audio, Soulvent and many more.
