In the organizer's words:
The climate - it shapes us humans, all other living creatures and planet Earth. It is complex and constantly changing. It can enable life or it can end life. Everyone is currently talking about the climate. Climate change and its consequences are an omnipresent topic. 2024 was the hottest year since weather records began and extreme weather events are on the rise. The changes are being felt worldwide, including in Westphalia.
What is the climate? How has the climate developed historically? What is man-made climate change? What are its consequences? And how can these consequences be countered? The exhibition is dedicated to these questions, with a special focus on Westphalia.
