We invite you to a Franco-German democracy workshop!

How can the link between living and learning democracy succeed? The workshop explores this question and gives an insight into a special method of democracy education: The Betzavta (Hebrew for "togetherness") program.

The method teaches in a practical way how diversity of opinion can be tolerated, how conflicts can be resolved constructively and how decision-making processes can be shaped effectively. Participants strengthen key democratic skills - from empathy and changing perspectives to tolerance of ambiguity and willingness to compromise.

The workshop will be led by Pia Machinek and Katharina Roth from @edukapi_demokratiebildung

Saturday, 29.11.2025, 9:30 to 16:30, on the premises of Meffi.s (Mefferdatisstraße 16-18, 52062 Aachen).

For German and French native speakers (divided into groups). No previous knowledge necessary!

Fee: 20 € (reduced 15 €), including drinks and snacks.
