Vigil at the Stumbling Stones

The initiative group "Mahnwache und Stolpersteine putzen" organizes this action on the occasion of the Pogrom Night; every year, Frauenkultur participates at the following three locations and invites all interested parties to join in:

Eisenbahnstr. 97: Stumbling stone for the painter Sofie Schneider. She was deported to Riga in January 1942.

Neustädter Str.13: Fanny Chaja Mann. She died at the Leipzig train station during the "Polenaktion" on October 28, 1938.

Kochstraße 56: The sisters Erika, Genia and Renate Landwirth die after their parents are deported to Krakow and Auschwitz between the ages of 2 and 14.
