"This is not my story. My story hasn't even started yet. In this story, I'm the one who fixes things in the background and occasionally makes critical interjections and ends up catching the bride's bouquet and flushing it down the toilet and tipping it in pipe-free afterwards."

In this Cinderella adaptation, Kricheldorf deals with questions of classism, family traumas and the constraints of the patriarchy in a bitter and not without humor.

"Freedom equality sisterhood. There is still a lot to do!"
