In the organizer's words:
After fourteen years away, Hein returns to his hometown on a small island. But the close-knit village community doesn’t recognize him—not even his former best friend, Friedemann. A village court is set to determine whether he really is who he claims to be, while the witnesses’ memories and his own increasingly contradict one another. The trial divides the village and turns it into a cauldron of turmoil.
