Nine Perspectives on Walter Gropius. Not a biography, but a series of perspectives: on the architect, the educator, the lover, and the politically driven man. “Art cannot be learned,” wrote Gropius—but manual skill and thorough knowledge are the basic prerequisites for all creative work. The play explores this tension.
Written and directed by Jörg U. Lensing. Assistant director and training director: Jacqueline Fischer. Starring Michael Haffner, Manuel Rittich, Simon Fleischhaker, Rafael Svarin, Stella Göke, and Antonia Thomsen.
