In the organizer's words:
The Baltic Sea is increasingly becoming a geopolitical tension zone. Acts of sabotage on submarine cables and pipelines, ports and offshore wind farms make it clear that hybrid warfare has long since arrived in the maritime space - silently and across borders. We will discuss how we can protect this critical infrastructure in the future.
The event is part of Hamburg Horizons 2025, a series of events this year dedicated to water as a resource and habitat. Further information on the current program can be found here.
