Filippa Bauers shows her debut feature film as part of the Dokomotive "Cinema Tour through Balkan Clubs". Cinematographer Igor Nović will also be there. Both will take part in the subsequent film discussion.

Synopsis
As children, they spent their summer vacations playing on construction sites in what was then Yugoslavia; today, the dreams of their parents that were realized there are passing into their hands. The houses bear witness to the planned, but repeatedly postponed return from Germany - as a made family and with the whole family. Left in the shell, carefully furnished or now threatened by decay, they are mostly uninhabited. The film is dedicated to these spaces in quiet shots; the five protagonists relate to them.

Filippa Bauer (*1985 in Freiburg) lives and works as a freelance filmmaker in Cologne. Her graduation film "Freiräume" at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne premiered at the Berlinale in 2015 and was awarded the NRW Young Artists Award. For the development of "Die Statik der Träume", she received the 2019 working grant for artistic documentary and feature film from the state of NRW.
