Live disco excess with a nine-piece band & DJs

On October 17, the nine-piece Leipzig disco hydra Extraviolette will take to the Conne Island dance floor, bringing with them a driving groove of funk, soul and disco. Get ready for rolling basslines and cutting horns paired with powerful vocals in the style of the disco era of the 70s and 80s. Put on something stylish and don't forget to wear your trusty dancing shoes, because Extraviolette are celebrating the release of their new EP on this evening!

The DJs will take over before and after the disco hydra dance. Frinda di Lanco, a globetrotter with record crates full of hidden treasures, breathes new life into forgotten sounds. A tireless record digger, she has collected vinyl from all corners of the world - from Mexico City to Beijing, from Palermo to Los Angeles - and weaves these finds into sets that effortlessly transcend genres and eras. She is able to combine the familiar with the obscure, creating atmospheres that are both boundless and intimate. In addition to her performances in clubs and at festivals, as label operator of Avec Plaisir she shapes the scene with an uncompromising sense of quality.

Also at the helm is Captain Ahoy, the nautical sound traveler whose edits drift like messages in bottles across the seven seas and find their way to Conne Island on this evening.

And finally I. Marcello, guardian of the Italo-Fundamentalo spirit, vinyl junkie and gives the evening a clean start with white gloves.
