Divanko
In the organizer's words:
Since 2017, the Berlin-based band DIVANKO has been winning over audiences with its harmonies, violin, guitar, banjo, ukulele, double bass, and all kinds of percussion. They perform in Berlin and the surrounding area, in cafés and clubs, at festivals, in churches, and at private celebrations.
DIVANKO is particularly drawn to the songs of Eastern and Southeastern Europe with their straight and offbeat rhythms. They perform everything from ballads to dance tunes, ranging from Turkey to Hungary and from Poland to Greece. The songs tell of women and men, old age and youth, pain, farewells, schnapps and wine, love, dance, and moonlight—and how it all fits together…
Tina Heß – vocals, percussion, ukulele
Kathrin Hergert – vocals, banjo, guitar
Melisande Rodenacker – vocals, violin
Janek Skirecki – double bass, vocals
Thomas Schudack – guitar, banjo, vocals
