On 20.10.2025 from 16:00 to 17:30, the motto is: music loud, energy high, bodies in motion! Dancer and artist Asmaa Sbou invites African and Afro-diasporic youngsters* aged 9 and over to experience hip hop together.
It's about more than just learning steps - it's about feeling, creativity and your own flow. Together we will create moves that not only look good, but also feel like you.
The workshop is FREE - just join in and have fun!

About Djèlí
Djèlí (pronounced like Jelly) means "storyteller" - inspired by a West African tradition in which stories, history and knowledge are passed on. The project is being realized by Oré Arts, an artists' collective of African and Afro-diasporic artists from various disciplines. Djèlí gives African and Afro-diasporic children and young people space to share their perspectives, celebrate their identity and speak out creatively.
*We create a safe space where African and Afro-diasporic youth can be safe and respectful with each other. The workshop will provide an environment where they can move freely, experiment and express their creativity.
