Kira lives her life with the youthful certainty that the world revolves around her. Born and raised in late Soviet Ukraine, she thinks her life is predictable. But that doesn't last long when she learns that her father has a lover and that her mother knows about it but prefers to keep quiet. As Kira's family begins to disintegrate - and the Soviet state at the same time - everything she knew turns out to be an illusion. Kira is in search of love and hope for the future and embarks on a path she could not have foreseen.

The film celebrated its world premiere at the Berlinale 2023 and won the Andrzej Wajda Krakow Film Award in the main section of the Off Camera Festival in Krakow.

Кіра живе з юнацькою впевненістю, що світ обертається навколо неї. Народившись і вирісши в пізньорадянській Україні, вона вважає своє життя передбачуваним. Але так триває недовго. Вона дізнається, що її батько має коханку, а мати знає про це, але воліє мовчати. Коли сім'я починає розпадатися, а разом з нею і радянська держава, все, що Кіра знала, виявляється ілюзією. У пошуках любові та надії на майбутнє, Кіра вирушає у непередбачувану подорож.

Світова прем'єра фільму відбулася на Берлінале-2023, стрічка здобула нагороду імені Анджея Вайди в основній секції фестивалю Off Camera у Кракові.
