Dortmund unplugged – Lagerfeuer Stage

It’s a law of nature: Whenever someone, anywhere, lights a pile of wood, a guitar materializes and someone starts strumming chords. Music is simply part of the experience when flames crackle—and this simple fact is perhaps celebrated nowhere more beautifully than on the Campfire Stage at Dortmund Unplugged. With a lineup that’s at least as wild as a blazing fire. Six acts, each performing for 15 minutes to showcase just how diverse and vibrant music from the Ruhr region sounds:

Leo Karter
Look, listen, let go. In his songs, Leo Karter combines the intensity of youth with mature depth. With his multifaceted and expressive voice, he tells stories—ranging from love to nostalgia—that capture the spirit of the times. 

Andy C
A singer-songwriter with a guitar whose German-language songs oscillate between melancholy and joie de vivre—sometimes pensive, sometimes tongue-in-cheek. His music ranges from poetic ballads to rock-infused tracks with attitude. Andy has been part of the close-knit crew since the start of “Dortmund Unplugged.”

Carry
Carry writes gentle, heartfelt German songs—on topics that many people can relate to. 

EinSein
The acoustic version of the reggae band “Boomtown Shakedown.” Stripped down to its fragile core. This always creates a fantastic vibe and ignites the fire in the audience’s hearts.

Sara Buschulte
A little jazz, a little pop, and a whole lot of individuality. Delicate and fragile, yet with a power that gets right under your skin, her multilingual songs tell of flying, falling, and getting back up—and of the courage to forge your own path.

MaBea
The Caribbean duo from Dortmund plays Latin and reggae rhythms on steel drums, performing German/Caribbean songs

As befits a campfire, the atmosphere is just right: the Lagerfeuer Stage at Weltacker on Schultenhof serves as their stage—a little slice of nature right in the heart of Dortmund.
