GUT HOLZ - Isn't that the somewhat outdated greeting that is shouted to each other on

smoky bowling alleys, usually hidden in basements, before the balls are

the bowling balls are bowled? Perhaps - but perhaps it is also much

much more. Perhaps it stands for the good wood of the boards that mean the world, for climate protection

or, above all, for the fifth studio album by punk rock band DREI METER FELDWEG.

Inspired by the aforementioned cone greeting - a congratulatory greeting that has long been a

phrase that has long since become part of the band's DNA and is celebrated before every concert. Now

it's time for DREI METER FELDWEG to send a cultivated GUT HOLZ out into the world

because we could all do with a bit of happiness right now.

With the new album and well-known hits in their luggage, DREI METER FELDWEG are heading back to the sweaty clubs in the fall, back to the good wood of the country's stages, back on a big headline tour across Germany. Here's to a good GUT HOLZ!
