EM24 in Germany - how queer is professional sport?

Shortly after the opening of the European Football Championship in Germany, we ask ourselves the question: Why is it still so difficult to come out in professional sport and what measures are necessary to make professional sport open and supportive for all athletes? Together with Julia Monro, journalist and activist, and Alexander Wehrle, CEO of VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG, the current developments, challenges and opportunities for LGBTIQ+ athletes in professional sport will be examined. The moderator will be the entertainer, author and YouTuber Jurassica Parka.

A cooperation event of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Baden-Württemberg and the Baden-Württemberg State Representation in Berlin.
