Embodied Consent: Grenzen spüren & klar kommunizieren

What does consent actually mean when we don’t just understand it as a theoretical concept, but feel it in our own bodies?

In this insightful workshop on Embodied Cons ent —led by Kuem (@kuemsong) – we’ll dive into the sensations surrounding consent. We’ll explore how a conscious culture of consent can enrich both our community life and your daily interactions and relationships.

Through stimulating discussions, gentle awareness exercises, and partner activities, you’ll learn step by step:

• ✨ Recognize needs: Feel your own desires and express them without guilt.
• 🛑 Setting boundaries: Communicate your own boundaries effectively and respectfully, and honor the boundaries of others.
• 🤝 Deepen connections: Develop a practical understanding of consensus in everyday life and relationships.

At Social Studio, consent is a core value for a safe and vibrant community. The workshop is open to anyone who treats this space and all participants with respect. Whether you’ve been exploring this topic for a while or are joining us for the first time, this session will deepen your understanding and provide you with practical tools.

About the workshop facilitator:

Kuem (born in 1980, non-binary trans*masculine, pronouns --/er, they/he, Person of Color, plus-size/fat) has always felt at home in the practical, tactile, and physical realms. Fascinated by in-between spaces, networks, and the wisdom of one’s own body, Kuem enjoys acting as a catalyst in their work: With a resource-oriented approach, they create a safe space for (..) body awareness and development.

Background & Qualifications:

• Wheel of Consent: (..) “Like a Pro – Wheel of Consent” (2023), in preparation for the Facilitator Training at Dr. Betty Martin’s School of Consent.  
• Bodywork & Somatics: Trained in Sexological Bodywork (ISB Berlin) as well as Craniosacral Therapy & Acute Taping (Medius Rheinland, Cologne)
• Process Facilitation: (..) Advanced training in facilitating the Hero’s Journey (Call to Adventure)
• Extensive Practice: Many years of experience in designing and facilitating body awareness workshops and sex-positive retreats, as well as a practice offering individual and constellation sessions in somatic support in Cologne (...)
