Emergent Beauty, a light installation, examines the momentary and unpredictable. In the projection, light and movement condense into fleeting patterns that only become beauty in the act of perception. Skin - velvet - body becomes a glitter in the digital realm. What is created is beyond our control. From what we observe, what we can only guess at, we build a unique moment according to our own imagination. This is an emergence.
Or to put it another way: isn't the beauty that emerges from chance and mistakes the most endearing?
