A tour de force through the history of economic theory. Artist Julian Rosefeldt quotes from original texts by famous economists, writers, and philosophers, tracing the 2,000-year history of human greed. Rosefeldt combines historical texts with familiar dramatic scenes in which actors such as Giancarlo Esposito and Virginia Newcomb appear as contemporary characters, and Cate Blanchett lends her voice to a talking and singing tiger.
