Europäische Mobilitätswoche 2026

Mobility must be socially equitable, climate-friendly, and tailored to people’s needs so that Leipzig remains a great place to live in the future.

How can we, as residents of Leipzig, get around the city?
How do we want to shape public spaces?
And what should the Leipzig of tomorrow look like?

We want to address these and other questions together during European Mobility Week 2026. A wide range of events will discuss key topics related to sustainable mobility and bring them to life. Events throughout the city will focus on walking and cycling, public transportation, accessibility, traffic safety, access to mobility, and much more. This year, the focus is on how mobility needs change over the course of a person’s life.
Join us in making Leipzig safer, quieter, and more environmentally friendly, and experience a week full of activities, ideas, and inspiration—all across Leipzig.
