Europäischer Tag der Restaurierung

On the 8th European Restoration Day, the restorers at the LVR-Landesmuseum Bonn will be giving exclusive insights behind the scenes under the motto "We preserve what moves us". During a 60-minute tour of the restoration workshop, you will learn about the diverse work of restorers. This year's program includes the restoration of paintings and sculptures as well as the restoration of organic materials, including wood, leather and textiles. You will also learn how finds and artifacts are researched using X-ray examination.

Please allow time to drop off your jackets and bags before the start of the tour.
It is possible to visit the exhibition before or after the tour at the opening times and ticket prices indicated.
