A Sea of Possibilities

On September 20, 2026, World Children’s Day will be celebrated in grand style in Bonn: From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the grounds of the GOP Varieté-Theater Bonn and the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bonn will be transformed into six colorful worlds of adventure for children, teens, and families.

Marvel, explore, craft, climb, dance, join the festivities, and have fun: In the World of Discovery, the Creative World, the World of Movement, the World of Adventure, the World of the Stage, and the World of Delight, there’s something new to try and experience around every corner.

Look forward to hands-on activities, experiments, creative projects, sports and movement, theater, workshops, music, variety shows, and many special moments. A musical highlight is the concert by the band BrassGazz. Children’s rights, participation, and inclusion are also part of the day—presented in a playful, hands-on way and right in the heart of the action.

Adventure World: Be brave. Discover. Action
A rodeo, action-packed forklift rides, and a photo spot provide small challenges and special memories.

Activity World: Run around. Climb. Give things a try.
Whether it’s soccer, an obstacle course, climbing, a bounce house, a kids’ disco, or kids’ dance classes: here, movement is the name of the game. 

World of Discovery: Marvel. Explore. Understand.
Program robots, filter water, or print your own name in Braille. Here, knowledge comes to life through play. 

Stage World: Marvel. Laugh. Applaud.
Plays, workshops, and GOP shows bring the stage to life. Sometimes to watch, sometimes to join in and give things a try.

Creative World: Painting. Crafts. Inventing.
Face painting, a creative table, and plenty of opportunities to get creative provide space for imagination and your own ideas.

World of Indulgence: Enjoy. Connect. Relax.
Street food, drinks, snacks, and other treats invite guests of all ages to take a relaxing break in between activities.

BrassGazz: Sing along. Dance along. Celebrate along.
With their concert, BrassGazz provides a musical highlight and a great atmosphere for guests of all ages.
