FarbGestalten 2 - Werkschau von Juliette Eckel - Ausstellungseröffnung

Juliette Eckel’s exhibition“FarbGestalten 2”builds on the tradition of Expressionism and draws on its powerful use of color as an expression of subjective feelings. Nature, animals, and people form the central themes of her artistic work.

In her works—some of which incorporate textiles—Juliette Eckel arranges and combines colors, shapes, and materials into expressive compositions. The boundaries between collage, printmaking, and embroidery blur, giving rise to a unique, experimental visual universe. Symmetrical individual forms create a fascinating illusion of three-dimensionality and lend the works a special sense of spatial depth. The result is a vivid visual world that transports the viewer into a poetic, dreamlike, and at the same time resonant atmosphere.

Juliette Eckel has lived and worked in northern Germany since 2012. She is a mixed-media and textile artist, author, curator, and networker, and has been active for many years as an instructor in the field of textiles both in Germany and abroad. Her works are regularly featured in international exhibitions.

Drawing on an intensive exploration of dyeing and printing techniques, experimentation with innovative materials, and the possibilities of digital processes, Juliette Eckel has developed a distinctive artistic style. Today, she combines traditional textile techniques and materials with contemporary working methods. The dialogue between the old and the new gives rise to multi-layered structures and a distinctive textile visual language that characterizes her work.
