~90 min., ages 12+
Romeo and Juliet is about love—as if! This ensemble isn’t concerned with staying true to Shakespeare’s text; instead, it prefers to develop a personal perspective on themes such as death, tragic misunderstandings, and patriarchal power structures. A sparkling production that makes you want to take a closer look—and not simply accept the obvious in this classic drama.
