A martial arts gym is opening its doors—and turning it into the summer festival of the year.

On Saturday, September 5, Passis Gym in Düsseldorf-Eller celebrates its grand reopening—presented by Fight Tribe, the martial arts community centered around Frédéric “The Neanderthal” Vosgröne: 5-0 as a pro, all wins by stoppage, one of Europe’s greatest MMA talents—and over half a million people follow him on Instagram. On this day, he’s bringing his world to the courtyard on Waagenstraße.

From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., that means: barbecue smoke wafting over the asphalt, vinyl spinning on the turntable, pro fighters mingling with regular folks—and challenges where you’ll either become a hero or take home a damn good story.

The best part: You don’t need to know a thing about martial arts. Just be up for a really great day.

What to expect:

🥊 Crazy live challenges —Can you survive a round with a real fighter? Can you beat our guy in an arm-wrestling match? Do you even dare to compete? Those who participate can win some great prizes. Those who watch will have just as much fun.

🥋 Pro fighters up close — MMA, boxing, grappling: You’ll see people here you’d normally only see in the cage or on Instagram. Ask questions, take photos, connect—everything’s allowed, everything’s encouraged.

🎶 Live music & DJs — music all day long in the courtyard: vinyl, DJs, and summer festival vibes well into the evening.
