In his award-winning documentary, star photographer and director Anton Corbijn ("The American", "Control") follows in the footsteps of legendary graphic designers Aubrey "Po" Powell and Storm Thorgerson. Together they founded the Hipgnosis studio and revolutionized the design of record covers in the 1970s. They created iconic artwork for bands such as Pink Floyd ("The Dark Side of the Moon"), Led Zeppelin, Genesis, AC/DC and Paul McCartney.

The film tells of creative flights of fancy, wild London nights and painful crashes - and of how two friends made music history with radical creativity. Numerous music legends such as Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel and Roger Waters have their say and give an intimate insight into the "golden era" of rock music and the art of recording.
