The Film Commission Nordbaden invites you to a film talk at Cinema Quadrat on June 25. Guests are Sascha Keilholz, director of the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg, and Kathrin Lämmle, project manager of Girls Go Movie. The IFFMH is one of the oldest film festivals in Germany and primarily shows film discoveries by young cinema artists. Girls Go Movie is a film and media format that is unique in Germany and is aimed at girls and women* aged between 12 and 27 who want to create and direct their own short films.
The Girls-Go-Movie film WIR SCHWIMMEN (2018, dir: Georgia Bauer and Rahel Jung) will be shown. The talk will be followed by the queer love triangle ON SWIFT HORSES (USA 2024, dir: Daniel Minahan, 120 min, EnglOmdtU, FSK: 12): Muriel lives happily as a threesome with her husband Lee and his brother Julius.
