Filmvorführung „Georg Elser - er hätte die Welt verändert“

In the organizer's words:

Georg Elser, a man of 36, craftsman, trade unionist, member of the Red Front Fighters' League, was an opponent of National Socialism, he recognized early on that the Nazis were preparing for war and came to the conclusion that "conditions in Germany can only be changed by eliminating the current leadership: Hitler, Göring and Goebbels".
On 8 November 1939, his assassination attempt in Munich only just failed. Had this assassination attempt succeeded, it would have changed the world.
To mark the occasion, the Bürgerzentrum Nippes and the "Nippeser Edelweißpiraten" initiative are showingthe film and would like to discuss what Georg Elser means for us today afterwards.
