Final Cry (Melodic Death Metal)

For 35 years now, the Lower Saxony-based band FINAL CRY has been making waves in the German metal scene. Six albums and over 10,000 records sold are also impressive figures for a band that has always been rooted in—and remained connected to—the underground scene. Stylistically, the band has always been known for
powerful, fast metal with razor-sharp riffs that blend rich melody and atmosphere, bridging the musical styles from ’80s speed and thrash to the dark Scandinavian death and black metal styles of the ’90s. In doing so, the guys and the girl manage to reinvent themselves time and again
without losing sight of their roots.

Scythe Beast (Old-School Death Metal)

Scythe Beast was founded in 2012 by Sven Stoppelberg (guitar, bass, vocals, lyrics, and songwriting) and “Koopie” (producer/engineer) as a project to give a mutual friend a proper birthday serenade. It was clear from the start, though, that a fierce beast was going to blow out the candles on the cake! And that beast had a massive appetite! Live, Scythe Beast are the full package for any headbanger: sometimes heavy and slow-burning, then again with the gas pedal floored in the fast lane. Sometimes melodic, and right after that, a massive barrage of riffs. Here, they still roar with heart!

Downfall (Melodic Death Metal)

“Downfall” consists of five professional musicians from the Friesland area who came together in 2021 from various band projects to put their own modern spin on melodic death metal. Here, all the musicians combine their stage experience and high standards to break new ground with Downfall. The music of Downfall is characterized by varied drumming that impresses not only with its precise double-bass work. Shouts and growls infused with a healthy dose of rage alternate with two-part, melodic guitar riffs and catchy choruses. Deep and powerful bass lines form the foundation of Downfall’s sound.
