The information events organized by Start with a Friend e.V. in Cologne offer interested people the opportunity to find out more about the initiative and its goals. These events take place approximately twice a month and are designed to make it easier for new members to join the community.

Contents of the information events

• Introduction to the association: Participants receive comprehensive information about the mission of Start with a Friend, which focuses on promoting friendships between people with and without immigration experience.
• Tandem partnerships: How tandems are formed to enable personal encounters and exchanges at eye level will be explained.
• Q&A: Participants will have the opportunity to ask their questions and learn more about the different ways to get involved.
• Registration: After the information session, interested parties can register to find suitable tandem partners.

Target group

The events are aimed at anyone from Cologne who is interested in intercultural exchange and would like to get involved in the community. People who are willing to form a tandem with a person with a history of immigration are particularly welcome.
