Finn Wolfhard became world-famous as an actor in 2016 thanks to his role in the mystery series "Stranger Things". In the role of Mike Wheeler, the Canadian has gained international popularity over the four seasons of the production to date and has also celebrated great success as an actor in the two "It" film adaptations by Andy Muschietti and other films. But music has also accompanied Finn Wolfhard since his childhood. In 2012, he made his acting debut in the music video for "Retro Oceans" by Vancouver band Facts. Wolfhard, himself a guitarist and singer, founded the band Calpurnia in 2017, which became the duo The Aubreys in 2019. In 2025, he finally debuted with his solo project and recently released his first album "Happy Birthday". With this record in his luggage, Finn Wolfhard will be coming to Germany in October 2025 on his The Objection! tour to Germany and will be performing live at Hole44 in Berlin and Luxor in Cologne.

After the break-up of the band Calpurnia, Finn Wolfhard and drummer Malcolm Craig formed The Aubreys. The duo signed to AWAL and released the EP "Soda & Pie" in 2020, followed by the album "Karaoke Alone" (2021) and further singles, of which "No Offerings" became their biggest success. In 2025, the actor took a new step and began releasing songs as a solo musician. With his solo debut single "Choose the latter" in spring 2025, Finn Wolfhard revealed a grunge-influenced rock sound between alternative and indie. This was followed by the singles "Trailers after dark" and "Objection!", which served as a further foretaste of the release of his debut album "Happy Birthday". The long player was released at the beginning of June via AWAL and presents nine songs that range between energetic alternative rock ("Crown"), punky new wave vibes ("Eat") and dreamy singer-songwriter indie ("Everytown there's a darling", "Wait"). Kerrang! described the debut album as an "album that only a die-hard music geek could have made, and that's a wonderful thing", alluding to the album's great musical quality. Under the motto of his single "Objection!" - a rocking indie ballad with a retro touch - Finn Wolfhard will be touring Europe for the first time in October, following on from a tour of North America.
