Photography as an artistic medium is now firmly anchored and established in the art world. In the art world, however, it has long since ceased to be regarded as an image of reality. Rather, it is experimented with, subjectivized ,decoded, alienated, cut up, sewn up, overexposed, overpainted, digitally alienated. The image is only a reminiscence of what photography once was, what its

what photography once was, what its purpose once was. The documentary still has its validity. But where photography leaves the image ,it is rethought.
