Dance music has to be dirty, dance music has to be greedy, vulnerable and dangerous. It must intoxicate and it must ground, and for that it needs the blues. That's why the Butcher puts on stuff like this: Rhythm'n Blues, Electro Swing, Cumbia, Balkan Beats, Reggae Fusion and Boogaloo. Some call the whole thing Urban World Beats. With this kind of sound, the music lover will experience the old Hedi as it should be: shaken by waves and dances.
