Hans Brockmöller (1911-1977) is considered a chronicler of reconstruction and the ports of Bremen. With his camera, the self-taught photographer captured life in Bremen
after the war: the destruction, the reconstruction, everyday life and the big and small events in the city.
The exhibition in the Bürgerschaft presents a selection of his works that has never
selection of his works. The impressive images reveal how urban life and architecture changed after the war.
