The Leipzig music collective DRAN(https://www.dran-musik.de/) is once again organizing a fine concert evening at Ilse's Erika.

THON and KNDNSTR will be playing on the "Bunkerfloor". The latter will also be kicking off their DRAN Tour 2025 on 24.11., which will take them through the nearby province, and will use the gig at Ilse as a tour kick-off.

Afterwards, the new Leipzig high-flyers GAST will transform the main floor into what they do best: a dark hole of emotion!

GAST is a duo that pushes the boundaries of modern wave, combining raw, analog aesthetics with German lyrics that get under your skin. Profound, thoughtful and uncompromisingly emotional - their songs are not mere tracks, but chapters of a larger, multimedia Gesamtkunstwerk.

An excerpt of this narrative style is particularly evident in their second EP, "kaputt gehen", which tells the story of two boxers through a short film in Instagram reel format and whose release show was staged as a boxing match.

For two years now, Tim and Linus, originally from Tübingen, have been building up a steadily growing fan base in the indie and NNDW scene and beyond. All lyrics, ideas and productions are created in-house - mostly within their own four walls. With warm, analog drum machines and synthesizers from the 80s, they capture the attitude to life of all those who are teetering between nostalgia and the future and hit exactly where it hurts.

At the end of 2024, shortly before their first well-attended co-headline tour through Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, they released their latest EP 'Americanism'. Not only did it fit in thematically with the current hot topic of the US elections, it also followed a well thought-out concept. In addition to the techno and indie influences already used by GAST, there are new, more modern influences from the musical field of the upcoming "2000" revival. In a mixture of aesthetic homage and radical reinterpretation, the duo finds a way out of the generational feeling of "feeling sad and lost with the prospect of deterioration".

KNDNSTR [pronounced: Kondensator] is an electro-clash band from Leipzig and Wroclaw. Their EP II was released in 2020 on the Leipzig label DRAN. The songs "80s" and "Ice" had some airplay on student and internet radio. The track "Chuck" from the first EP (2017) reached the charts of the student radio RadioSfera in Torun (PL) and "Sunrise" at Campus Radio in St. Pölten (AUT). The band has played concerts in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.
