Commemorative event of the City of Bonn on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the November pogrom of 1938
On Monday, November 10, 2025, the Initiative for the Remembrance of the Bonn Victims of National Socialism and the City of Bonn will commemorate the November pogroms of 1938 and invite people to remember the victims.
On the morning of November 10, 1938, the Bonn synagogue in the former Tempelstraße on the banks of the Rhine was set on fire. It was one of a total of five Jewish places of worship that were set on fire in Bonn, Poppelsdorf, Beuel, Bad Godesberg and Mehlem.
