No other reading stage manages to combine literature, cabaret and comedy as effortlessly as Stuttgart's busiest reading stage, which has its home at the Merlin cultural center. In the tradition of everyone from Wladimir Kaminer to Torsten Sträter, you can laugh and ponder stories from everyday life. Six authors regularly write new short stories: literary, satirical, sharp-tongued, ironic and hilarious. From black everyday comedy to bizarre encounters, everything is included, and there's live music in between.
