Classical concerts are only for grandmas and grandpas? We beg to differ! We invite you to our moderated concerts for young and old. Malte Arkona gallantly and wittily guides you through the program, explores fascinating works together with the audience and artists or tells an exciting story. Whether with the Gewandhaus Orchestra or the Gewandhaus Choirs - there are lots of new and fascinating things to discover for everyone aged six and over.

If you are particularly curious, come to the Instrument Street an hour before the concert begins. Here you can meet musicians from the Gewandhaus Orchestra in person, try out instruments and get creative yourself.
