A man on an impossible mission in the jungle - Werner Herzog has once again found a protagonist who seems to be made for him: for a decade, South African biologist Dr. Steve Boyes has been searching for a herd of very special elephants in the impassable highlands of Angola. Together with Herzog and the best trackers from Namibia, he sets off once again, but an essential question arises: wouldn't it be better to regard these huge elephants as dreams, as ghosts, rather than finding them in reality?
