Global Day. Stories for Change

How can films and moving image content help to make global crises understandable and motivate people to take action? The Global Day. Stories for Change brings together leading minds from film, TV, campaigning and development policy and creates a platform for exchange, inspiration and new partnerships. We present successful German and international productions and formats that show how the climate crisis and other existential global challenges can be told in a creative, cross-media and effective way in order to successfully reach broad target groups and strengthen social change.

Following the Global Day, the NRW MEDIA PRIZE FOR DEVELOPMENT POLICY COMMITMENT will be awarded for the sixth time together with the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
