Goldbettvariationen – HIDALGO Festival 2026
In the organizer's words:
They say you can buy peace—but can you actually find it?
The lights in the sales area go out, and a bedding store becomes a stage. Amid mattresses, pillows, and washing machines, we ask: When does a break become a real break? We turn inward, let our minds wander, listen, connect with one another—and discover just how many different ways rest can sound.
In GOLDBETTVARIATIONEN, Bach meets jazz, meditation meets poetry, the horizontal meets the vertical—designed and staged by students at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts.
A concert of transformation between consumption and contemplation, devotion and action.
