Good Boys Film Club

The Good Boys Film Club emerged from a shared experience in the context of research into genderqueer histories. 

Through an ongoing exchange of stories, knowledge, and perspectives, a personal archive of trans films, photographs, ephemera, and memories became the starting point for a mutual and intergenerational exchange.

Together, we bring these materials into dialogue with contemporary films and our own experiences. The series celebrates the knowledge and connections that can emerge through such encounters, creating a space to share, remember, and imagine trans and queer lives across generations.

The screenings open up spaces to meet, watch, and talk together: about friendship and chosen family, desire, loneliness, resistance, queer spatial practices, and possible futures. 

For trans and queer people, their friends, partners, allies, and anyone curious about the stories and images that have shaped us and continue to do so.
