Workshop by Elisabeth Bessler (Erlangen-Senegal) and Rolf Klug
on the UNESCO World Day of Philosophy

When we use big words that are on everyone's lips, misunderstandings often arise because the meaning of the word only reveals itself when we know the perspective of the person using it. Using the example of "freedom" - one of the biggest words at the moment - we will discuss the meanings and aspects of this term with the participants. Elisabeth Bessler will contribute her experiences from Senegal and expand the discussion in an interesting direction.

Elisabeth Bessler is an entrepreneur in the field of ecological building renovation and the rental of old buildings. She is in charge of sustainable village development in Senegal and is a founding member of the International Forum Happy Aliens e.V., a Russian-Ukrainian cultural association in Erlangen.

Dr. Rolf Klug is a retired electrical engineer, amateur philosopher, educational speaker, transformation activist, improv musician, repair café operator, founder of the non-profit foundation "Verbindung der Welten" and co-founder of the RaumTeiler housing project in Erlangen.
