The anniversary year "950 years of Feuerbach" comes to an end with a musical highlight. With the SINFONIA02 orchestra, VokalWerk Stuttgart, the Bosch Choir and soloists Catalina Bertucci (soprano), Alma Ruoqi Sun (soprano) and Kai Kluge (tenor), over 170 singers and musicians will perform Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's monumental symphonic cantata.

The concert marks the end of an anniversary series in which more than 20 events throughout the year have made the diversity and vitality of Feuerbach visible. The fact that Mendelssohn's "Lobgesang" was chosen for the festive finale is particularly symbolic: the premiere of the work in 1840 was already marked by an anniversary, when Mendelssohn presented the symphonic cantata on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the invention of printing in Leipzig. Now the composition is being performed again to pay tribute to an entire district.
