HAL JOHNSON // from Münster
"HAL JOHNSON "Back on the road again" - with their new single '925', HAL JOHNSON renounce real life and return to the streets of this world to play energetic live shows and celebrate life. Their songs, which move between ecstatic rock anthems and polyphonic sing-along pop, are guaranteed to stick in your sweaty head for hours after the gig.
After the acclaimed debut album 'SEASONS' (2020 via Uncle M), numerous support shows for bands such as ZEBRAHEAD, MOM JEANS and THE WARNING followed, where HAL JOHNSON played their way into the hearts of the audience. With 'TIME WILL SHOW', the next EP from the four Münster natives is now being released, once again providing a rousing soundtrack for all those who want to escape the dull everyday life and turn night into day.
With new sounds and new songs, HAL JOHNSON once again underline their passion for rock music without forgetting their D.I.Y. and punk roots. Inspired by artists like THE BEATLES and NOFX, they create a unique live experience that invites everyone to forget their worries for a moment and stand together against the conflicts of our time."
SWAN SONGS // from Münster
"SWAN SONGS are at home in the lively Münster punk scene and were founded there in 2016. Their first release, Con Artists (LP), came out in 2019, followed by numerous live dates, including support slots for Petrol Girls and others.
After the big pandemic live break, which was used for a personnel change on the drums and a lot of creative work, the current album A Different Kind Of Light was released in April 2023 on the Dortmund label My Ruin. Positive reviews in the relevant music press (including Visions, Ox, Fuze) poured in, and Swan Songs were subsequently able to prove that their music not only works in the DIY scene, but also on big stages - for example as an opening act for national and international acts such as Jupiter Jones, PUP, The Iron Roses, FJØRT and Turbostaat.
Due to another line-up change, this time on guitar, 2024 was temporarily a little quieter. Numerous live dates are planned again for 2025, including this tour of Germany in October. At the same time, the band is currently working on new material for a third album, which the single Pine Street Magnolia already gives a first glimpse of."
